Centenarian. Ever heard of them? Good guess. But it's not the word from World of Warcraft or so. Not even from the Lord Of The Rings. Not from any epic novel or kind. It's a term use for people who reach the golden number, 100. 100 years old. Plus, a super centenarian is the title given to those is or beyond 110 years old where live expectancy is much lower then 100 today. Real centenarian live happily, healthily ever after. Superb. The talks here is not mere number, you are 100 but you lie on the bed, can't move, can't barely talk, see or hear. That's useless. But this centenarian can dance shuffle or kick your butt in fancy martial arts way. So if you have regretted your previous deeds, and want to have extra time to change or correct things. Or you just want to continue to do good deeds where you thought the contribution is still not enough. Or you are such a bad bad hell bad person and you want to seek forgiveness. You do wish to live longer, don't you? Here are the cheats. Better try it before your time has come. Because, if you die.. you'll die. No reset.
INTRODUCTION.
Where is this so called centenarian mostly lives? OKINAWA. Hundreds of them. Top player of game called living, and here is their paradise. We called them The Okinawan. The secret? Simply live here in Okinawa, and you'll reach 100. No. Not that simple. Before we continue, other good rankings They have,
- more people over 100 years old per 100,000 population than anywhere else in the world
- the lowest death rates from cancer, heart disease and stroke (top Malaysian serial killers)
- the highest life expectancy for both males and females over 65
- females in Okinawa have the highest life expectancy in all age groups
WHAT IS RIGHT WITH THEM?
Researchers came to Okinawa. They saw a 103 old grandpa ride his scooter to karate class. There is a 101 old grandma across the road tending her garden before taking the crop to the market to sell . Than the researchers gather 800 of them and ask the question. And what just did they discover? It's not a lie. The long life of Okinawan claims have been verified. They don't just age, they do it successfully. Most of them are energetic, lean and didn't suffer chronic illness. Good genes. Anti inflammatory and autoimmune disease (Unfortunately change of lifestyle deactivate the gene though). Lower free radicals in their blood. Healthy heart. Low risk for cancer. Strong bone. Natural menopause. More sex hormones (natural DHEA, estrogen and testoserone). Positive mindset. Nothing wrong with them in term of on the right path of longevity. Making them such a good player in the game that we call living.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH US?
Stand in front of the mirrors. Ask a question, why we cannot achieve such longevity as what the centenarian did? Maybe it's because we didn't live at Okinawa. Could be that we are pathetic to live in this world, hence god shorten our life span. No. In this game, our habit is the blame for such tragedy as well as our built. Here it is specifically.
Bad Genes. Which is not a major factor that lead us to die earlier.
High Calories. . Blame fast food. Blame media mass.
Less Work-out. Blame our self for not having a routine exercise. Blame our laziness.
Weak Spiritual Commitment. Which is the reason why religion and belief exist. To counter this.
Negative outlook on life. Negative flat earlier. Just like its symbol ' - '.
THE CHEAT CODE FOR GREATER HP.
HP is health point, like gaming, better health point mean longevity. So let us become a good cheater, and cheat our lifestyle so it'll get better. Don't worry I wont let my friend die early. As a proof, I share with you the secrets. To the cheats.
Go Good Genes. Nothing we can help about the way we are born accept with one thing. Lifestyle. I once said that even the Okinawan go outside of Okinawa, these good genes of them, are shutdown. It's not very good in adaptability. Marrying an Okinawan will only give your generation 1:4 chance of living longer. Why? Lifestyle diversity. Even an Okinawan who heavily consuming fast food will eventually die due to excessive calories related disease. Genes are minor. Lifestyle is major. Healthy one that is.
Go Low Calories. Okinawan says, "Each day, I have 7 servings of vegetables and fruits. Seven servings of grains a day. Two serving of soy products. Fish several times a week. Minimal dairy products and meat." "We eat until we are 80% full." What's the benefit having low calories diet? You'll decrease the number of free radicals inside you. Means better cardiovascular health and less risk of cancer and other chronic illness.
Go Exercise. Okinawan have high levels of physical activity. Give them a healthy heart. They are doing it not because of fitness regime or to enter Mr. Universe. Not. It's simply done because of hobbies. They love work out. But don't imagine yourself with this centenarian do 100 push up by road side, marathon, heavy lifting, bulldozer tire towing, truck flipping. No. Their daily activities are traditional dance, karate, a lot of walking and gardening. It make them feel one with nature.
Go Everyday Pray. Okinawan pray almost daily in their homes. They are such religiously devoted. Okinawan women are powerful religious leaders. So if you want to marry one (I'm not, because i already have my love one. She's the best!), make sure you are at the same level of devotion. Or willing to do the same. By the way it's good. You can spent wonderful golden age with her, you live long healthily, you'll die disease free. About prays, it's a connection to help your mind and body stay healthy from inside. It maintain good attitude, good discipline, better soft skills and integrity. Save you from the bad outside and inside. A fortress to put it in simple word. a fortress to keep you positive and healthy both mind and physical.
Go Stress Free. Okay. I know and understand those with stressful life, and job. Don't kill yourself. Don't ever think about it. About Okinawan, they lead relatively stress-free live. No. Not that they are so carefree, they jump around smiling, play with butterfly in the vast meadow under the rainbow, they laugh until their tummy explode or run away from their problems. And say loud, i don't have any problems. Not that kind stress free. It's stress resistant personalities kind of stress free. They are good dealing with it. They have experience war since the 1600 to compare with us who stressful thing happen is the war in office and at home. This bunch of grandpas and grandmas our tough inside. We should make them our sifus in stress management. That's the way of stress free living they live. Instead of running from stress, they stand firm and say "Bring it on."
CONCLUSION
You'll die. Game over. That is the reality. So what's the point? It's about the way you wanna die. See, you can choose to die peacefully or chaotically. Peacefully here is, your death is much like fall asleep (which achieved usually by good people and the healthy one). Chaotically is when you go to surgical table, they cut you off and you die after years suffering or go straight in the highway and get hit by a 10 tonnes truck. Wait for 30 minutes of agonizing pain before you're soulless. Which I pray it didn't happen to any of us. So choose wise. Choose your lifestyle. Choose your diet. I give you a pyramid to begin with. Have fun for longevity. Enjoy this game called living.
